How to Style a Plaid Shirt 

Does any other piece of clothing symbolize fall like a plaid shirt? Not at all. Make it casual or make it dressy, grab a PSL and let's go pumpkin picking!  


A casual look is to wear the plaid shirt open over a graphic tee with jeans. My jeans are ripped and these are my personal favorite! You could wear booties with this look and make sure you cuff the bottoms of your jeans. You don't want to have the ends crumpled up over the top of the booties. * Plaid Shirt - Target, Graphic Tee - Guess, Jeans - American Eagle, Necklace - Banana Republic *  




Another casual way but cute as well is to tie the shirt around your waist over a dress. This dress is more over-sized and is so easy to dress up or down. The shirt also helps give shape. You can wear knee-high boots with this and a long pea coat. * Dress - Loft, Plaid Shirt - Target, Necklace - Banana Republic *  







An elevated look would be to wear a over-sized and stretchy sweater over the shirt with leather leggings.I'm quite happy with how this look turned out. I think next time I will cuff the sweater sleeves twice then roll the shirt sleeves once to show its underneath and be able to show off bracelets. I put a small statement necklace to give a little sparkle, but you could wear this with tall boots, stilettos, or booties. A leather jacket or a long pea coat would compliment this look well. * Sweater - Loft, Plaid Shirt - Target, Leather Leggings - BeBe, Necklace - Loft *

PALM BEACH TRIP

PALM BEACH, FL        I went on a trip with my mom to Palm Beach. Neither of us had been  here before and I was  excited to have a mother/ daughter trip. This was also a first for us, as we had always done  family trips or girls trips with other family members. 10/10 recommend.                 Our trip was September 21 - 25th, a nice long weekend. We flew out of CVG, the  Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport, had a layover in Atlanta, then into Palm Beach  International Airport. We stayed at a beachfront resort called Marriott Ocean Pointe , its part of  the  vacation club, so I learned some units are time shares, and the rest is the regular hotel room.  The hotel has three pools, a gym, basketball court, mini putt putt, corn hole, a kids water area,  nice marketplace with fresh fruit, small bar and grill by the pool with daily deals on drinks and  private beach access that we were able to get to from the pool. Knock-off Designer Bags

Buying Knock-off Designer Bags        Have you ever bought a knock-off designer bag? Have you ever thought about it? Buying one can be tempting; the price point, for one, is appealing, and it's also a great way to test out a particular style of bag before committing to an investment. On the other hand, where you decide to buy the bag plays a part in determining the quality. Of course, a knock-off is not going to be high-end. I decided to try this out and I wish this could have gone better. How on brand for 2020.        I bought a knock-off Hermes Birkin for $85, and if  I could afford a real one then trust me, I would have one. Honestly, I went against my better judgement and spent the money I could have saved for a real bag on a fake one. But like I said above, you can test out a bag style and see if you like it. The bag is really cute and the shape and style is spot on for an Hermes wannabe replica.       HOWEVER! The bag came from China, who has been very helpful in 2020. JK. A
